A Very Exciting and Busy Day

Yesterday was an very early, exciting and busy day. It all began around 4:00am when we got a call from Candace and Wade saying that she was in labor and we needed to come over and stay with the girls. So off we went down the block to see them off to have our fourth grandchild. Wade Hawkins Webster was born at 11:03am Sept. 7, 2009 weighing in at 8lbs. 3oz and 21 inches. He is beautiful, perfect in every way. Mom and dad are doing great. After getting the girls dressed, fed, and ready for the day we headed down to the hospital. But before we left our house Brooklynn wrote her mom and dad a card that she delivered to the hospital. It was so precious, she is getting so good at spelling and sounding out letters. (picture posted). Brooklynn is such a natural with Hawkins, she wasn't scared to hold him at all and she was so excited to see her mom. On the other hand Anniston was excited to see the baby but was a little hesitate about Candace, we think it was all the IV lines and all the other stuff that goes along with having a C-section. She was glad to see her dad. We stayed at the hospital for about 4 hours then left, on the way home Brooklynn got a little teary eyed and was sad that Hawkins couldn't come home too. After getting the kids fed, bathed, and ready for bed it was time to relax but that didn't happen, I did get to lay down only to tickle both Brooklynn and Anniston legs. Brooklynn fought to stay awake but finally drifted off around 10:00. Just before going to bed I checked on the girls only to find this adorable picture of sisterly love. (Sorry pictures aren't in order, but right know I'm to tired to do it). We have truly been blessed to have the four cutest sweetest grandchildren, who are healthy, happy and perfect in every way. They are our joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
