JACKSON HOLE!!!!!

Labor Day weekend we headed for Jackson Hole on the motorcycles with Brad and Betty what a great ride the weather couldn't have be more perfect, mid 80's. We couldn't beleive there was no traffic on the way there and on the way back it was not like the traffic we have seen in the past. On the way there we we're just coming down into Hoback Junction when both Brooks and Brad got speeding tickets, and no we were not racing, we thought the speed limit was 65 not 55 so needless to say they both got tickets. When we got there it was around 8:00 pm so we put our luggage in the hotel and went to dinner at the Silver Dollar, it was excellent but pretty pricey. After we went upstairs to the bar and listen to a pretty good band. I must say I enjoy watching the people dancing they make such fools of themselves. After that we were off to bed. The next day we headed for a ride around the park it was gorgeous, went to Jenny Lake Lodge and Jackson Lake Lodge what a beautiful part of our country. That evening we went to the Snake River Brewing Co. and for dessert Brooks and I shared a homemade smores, it was divine, I wish I had the recipe it was a homemade graham cracker crust with marshmellow and a hersey chocolate bar on top, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I have even gone to the Snake River's website to see if there was a recipe, no such luck, so if any of you know of a good homemade graham cracker crust please email me or leave a message on my blog. I don't mean graham crackers crushed with melted butter either. I want a real recipe for graham cracker recipe. Back to the ride, Sunday morning we had breakfast and headed back home. It was a beautiful ride down thru Swan Valley and down thru the Palisades, when we stopped for lunch at Bear Lake, Candace called and asked if where we were? She told us not to come just yet because they had heavy winds and rain. About 15 minutes after she called we saw it come over the mountain. After about two hours we geared up and headed for Logan, It was a wet, soggy ride. But we got there safely. I won't go into details but I was sure glad we had our wet gear to ride thru the storm. The ride home from Logan to Midway was ok not real warm but bearable. Brooks and I enjoyed the whole weekend, yes even the rainy cold weather. The best moment of the whole trip was seeing our beautiful granddaughters come running down to see grandman and grandpa!!! They are the sparkle in our eyes, we can't wait to have another little one join our family, thanks Brandy and Cam, can't wait!!!!! Here are a few of the pictures we took while in Jackson.
